Hicksville’s Historical Society is made up of area residents interested in preserving or learning about local history. We are a volunteer organization awaiting non-profit 501(c)3 status. New members are always welcome!

Our members care for The Land Office and St. Paul’s, research topics of local interest, and maintain a growing collection of photographs and historical artifacts. Past projects include Ohio Women’s Hall of Fame inductions, photographic assistance for the Huber curtain restoration, research for and coaching Youth Theatre workshops, displays and exhibits, Advent services, local photographs for Defiance County projects, “Building Doctors” restoration workshop, tours and speeches, providing resources for historic markers, and other local projects of historical nature.

Both St. Paul’s Church and The Land Office are located at the edge of Hicksville’s business district on West High Street. Our mailing address is The Hicksville Historical Society, PO Box 162, Hicksville, OH 43526.
